As we move into mid March we are coming to completion on the Manor and the Muse buildings at Liss Ard Estate. The project has thrown up lots of curveballs as old buildings tend to do, requiring a lot of deep retrofit thinking and sustainable solutions to deliver both are well performing energy environment, with great air quality and mitigating against the risks of water ingress, condensation and material deterioration.
Beyond the performance aspects the interiors of the building have been brought back to a high quality standard, addressing the lot of stripping out which happened in the late 90s. The interior is now have a sense that they belong in these Georgian and Victorian buildings.
