1970s Bungalow Retrofit

This project involved the retrofit of a stunning three-story split-level bungalow overlooking the picturesque River Bandon. Originally built in the early 1970s, home featured some insulation and double-glazed windows, but the client sought to enhance its energy performance while updating the interior and adding an extension. Our meticulously planned the project, ensuring it met the client's vision and planning requirements. Despite the challenges of working while the clients remained in the home, we successfully completed the retrofit in stages. We began by adding external insulation and replacing the existing windows, followed by the installation of a new heat pump to enhance energy efficiency. Each step was carefully executed to ensure minimal disruption while transforming the property into a modern, energy-efficient space.
